Hello everyone ,
I’m Clara and I’m 23 years old !!
I’ve just got back from a great year in New York City
so I thought why not writing an article on it, so here it is.
because I had several questions about the city of New
York:
·
How long does it take to cross Central Park ?
·
How many minutes does it take to go by subway?
·
How many skyscrapers can you visit in one day ?
·
How much is a ticket for a Broadway musical ?
·
How many museums can I visit in one day ?
After I had the answers to my questions I went to
a
New York Coffeeshop called : "frisson Espresso", in a small New York neighbourhood. I continued my visit of New York where there are so many
beautiful things to see.
I saw the Empire State Building which measures 443
meters and has 102 floors , it is magnificient. What is amazing! It was
built in 1931, 88 years ago. It’s huge. The Guide told me that even the Empire State Building is smaller than the One Trade Center.
Continuing my
visit I reached the Statue of Liberty. I learned that the seven branches
of her crown refer to the
seven seas and continents of the planet, and that
this immense and magnificient monument weights 200 tons.

I arrived in the very nice
area of Brooklyn , I decided to join an old friend in a restaurant in Manhattan
so I went over the Brooklyn Bridge, and I also learned that this is one of
the oldest bridge in the country: it was built during 13 years before being
inaugurated in 1883. After crossing this famous bridge , I arrived in Manhattan ,
and I saw
my old friend. He invited me to a local restaurant named : EAK Ramen.
To finish
the day we went to Central Park and admired the beautiful sunset.

There is
so much to see in New York that even in a year there you can not see
everything. This is a description, more or less , of my first days spent in New
York City.
A new article will soon follow !!
