NEW YORK CITY

      HAPPY IN NEW YORK CITY 

 

Hello, my name is Selin.          I was in New York during one year.                         

I want to share with you what I saw and visited.          

I arrived on January the 3rd, 2018. I saw the Empire State Building . It was built in 1931, it measures 443 meters high,and has102 floors. I had New York  at my feet !!!

On February 10th, I ate at a Club Sandwich.I went to the cinema to see Avengers Infinity War. Then for 7 days I was sick I had the flew.

On the 12th of April I went to the top of the Statue of Liberty. This magnificent and symbolic statue represents a woman whose freedom has no limits.

May 25th, I went to a game of NFC Helmet. I also went for a walk in Central Park.                                                        

On July, my parents came to see me for 1 month and a week; I showed them the city, tasted dishes of all horizons including sushi.On August 19th my parents left.

On September, I went to the library to buy "Harry Potter and the cursed chid".

On October, I went to the Bank of America to see what an American's Bank looked like. The building was very high.

On November, I went to Whitney Museum. It was rewarding: there are paintigs by Edward Hopper and other paintings by artists such as Demuth and Andy Warhol.

I worked at the library in the evening. Then I went regulary to the cinema, to the museum just next to the library.

If you like the culture, the music, the theatre, the ballads, the meetings with people of all backgrounds, go ahead; run to discover this wonderful city.

December 30th I prepared my suitcase for a big party.

The day has arrived to go back for Strasbourg. I am so sad leaving but at the same time I had my family back.
